Digital Playground was founded in 1993, not to make porn videos, but instead to produce X-rated porn CD games for PCs. These were absolutely cutting edge at the time. For the most part, they’ve maintained being on the cutting edge of things, moving to HD and offering mobile access before most others. All of the over 4,000 videos on their site are available in full HD. There’s no sign of higher resolutions, but the effort in remastering older content must have been huge. Sadly, downloads do require an additional upgrade to your membership. You can get that upgrade by paying for it, but apparently if you stay a member for long enough (it seems to be 6+ months) it’s added as a sort of “loyalty bonus,” which is an alright alternative.

Here you get an excellent array of varied hardcore porn, all the way from parody movies, to anal, and reality porn. Updates seem to be 1-2x per week, which, like the features, is pretty good. Features include a DVD store, ratings, tags, basic search, comments, favorites, a good model index, and others, and of course the site is very much still mobile-friendly.
